New Year's Choices

January 07, 2018

It's an important time of year. The pressure we put on ourselves to "do things right." This pressure in resolution is often what leads to avoidance of accomplishing such.

I've created New Year's choices as an alternative, and a more fool proof one at that. It's important to remember that whether we accomplish our lists or not, is quite simply a matter of choice. We can either make excuses or make moves.

What you will need  - the tools

1. A journal

2. A pen

3. An open heart

Sit down in a quiet place with your tools. Now imagine the vision of your life a year from now.

What does it look like?

Who is with you?

What are you doing for work? For fun?

What goals have you accomplished?

and so forth.

now open your journal and write "1/1/19"

Yes, I want you to date it as if it's January 1 2019!

Write tour journal entry as if it was the end of the day, give every detail of tour day from the moment you woke up. Write your vision as if it is taking place.

The next step is the most important.  Every choice you make from now till then I want you to ask yourself one simple question..

"does this get me to my vision."

if so, go for it! If not, drop it and move on.

work, dating, friends, creativity, spending - all of it, and any secession you find yourself second guessing, simply "does this get me to my vision."

blessings to yiu you all for an amazing 2018!! Can't wait to hear from you on 1/1/19 so you can fill me in on that vision accomplished!

Remember  to make sure your goals are S.M.A.R.T.

1. Specific

2. measurable

3. Attainable

4. Realistic

5. Time specific
